I think it was the right decision based on the DO. Mike was obviously expecting to go while Shirley was talking though.

It wouldn't be an issue if Strictly did the results show the same night....

Not an error and done deliberately IMO.

It was good that Shirley explained with such detail why she chose Mike over Catherine

I think it was the right decision based on those two performances. Catherine made one massive mistake and two other minor ones that I clocked anyway, whereas Mike improved. That's not to say that Catherine wasn't the better dancer overall though, but that just wasn't her dance.

I'm devastated for Johannes,
Catherine WAS poor, but no way is Mike better. Another week of "quirky"'choreography to look forward to.

Can't believe my Johannes is no more.

Call me naive, but I don't understand. How does anyone know what the outcome of the dance-off will be?

There is a spoiler that goes up at umpteen o-clock on Saturday night.

I accidentally read it once and ruined the night for myself, so now I'm very careful.

Watcher the DO is filmed on Saturdays. Digital Spy always has a “mole” in the audience (different people each week) who texts a designated person the DO result as soon as they’ve got their phone back at the end of the night. That person posts it on the DS “spoiler” thread.

Onto next week when I'll now spoil it and tell you Mike will be out ;)

I wish they’d just broadcast the bloody results live. I suppose it’s all about ratings.

I want to give them benefit of the doubt and they're mortified and name changing as we speak. But I really can't at least defend yourself and go woops my bad not watching and forgot the clocks changed or something

I don't see any grounds for giving her the benefit of any doubt. And if she name changes to return she's a coward.

Wasn't the reason they did results on Sunday because the Xfactor did as well and it was a ratings war. Because people were t watching on the Saturday as a result. But now that formula of xfactor has stopped I don't see why the scd results on Sunday farce has to continue

Thanks all, for explaining the spoiler mystery to me. I had no idea that sort of skulduggery went on! Whatever happened to deferred gratification? And a really mean trick to foist it on the unwary.
