If I liked Sally4ever & Camping.....with Julia Davis and Vicky Pepperdine. What else will I like?

I loved both of those and thought they were brilliant.

What else is there that's got a similar humour?

Have you listened to their podcast - Joan & Jericha?

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 21/10/2019 18:23

You enjoyed Camping? Shock

BloodyCats · 21/10/2019 18:27

Their podcast is very funny.

Have you ever watched sightseers? That’s a funny film with dark humour.

Feenie · 21/10/2019 18:35

Nighty Night - also written by Julia Davis.

beckyvardy · 21/10/2019 19:53

Thank you! Nope I have two fairly long drives coming up for work so I am saving their podcasts for then.

I haven't seen nighty night or sightseers I will look for them now on sky Grin

Nighty Night is just so brilliant

beckyvardy · 21/10/2019 20:04

It's not on sky and I can't check the Netflix because my DH has the football on. I'm going to go bed in a minute and see if it's on then watch it in peace Smile

Nighty night is great. I also like This Country which is on bbc iplayer.

beckyvardy · 22/10/2019 18:21

Nighty night isn't on Netflix or sky and I really want to watch it now!

I listened to series 2 episode one of podcast by Joan and jerica today on the way home and OMG 😮 it's so offensive but also so funny! Thank you for that recommendation!

Night in home alone tonight so going to watch sightseers in bed.

Just finishing off Derry Girls. It's great.

Hunderby was on Sky catch up not long ago. Written by Julia Davis, starring herself + usual suspects - Julian Barratt, Rufus Jones, Alex Macqueen.

Cluelessbeetroot · 22/10/2019 22:01

Motherland both series, I personally think first is better
Defending the Guilty
Catastrophe - again first couple of series are the best ones
Marcella, I luffs Roisin Conaty

salty78 · 22/10/2019 22:07

I recently enjoyed Aisling Bea's This Way Up which should still be on catchup on All4.

Sally4Ever was my Christmas treat last year. Best thing on TV for ages. So awful.

Stath Lets Flats is currently making me properly laugh out loud though. It's so daft. I'm also in love with all the characters.

Juanmorebeer · 22/10/2019 22:13

You will probably like Flowers (all4)
Uncle (was bbc I think)
Gameface (all4)
Afterlife with Ricky Gervais (Netflix)
Back to life (bbc)

Juanmorebeer · 22/10/2019 22:15

Also Fleabag, if you haven't seen it start with that

Cluelessbeetroot · 22/10/2019 22:25

Yep Gameface, not Marcella
Marcella is the main character

beckyvardy · 23/10/2019 18:06

Loads to watch!

Thank you.

I've just found he Gavin and Stacey Xmas special it must be an old one on sky but I haven't seen it.

beckyvardy · 23/10/2019 19:22

@CorCordium Thank you thank you thank you for recommending the podcast. I was totally unaware of it and have been honking with laughter! Not one to listen to in polite company though....

CorCordium · 23/10/2019 20:57

*@HakunaRattatas Grin definitely not. You’re welcome though!

mirage937 · 24/10/2019 15:17

There was a pilot called Morning Has Broken which is on youtube, it never got a series though

HaHaVeryBunny · 24/10/2019 15:27

Human Remains is great, her and and Rob Bydron play a different couple every week, YouTube should have it.
Seconding Gameface, its fantastic and This Way Up also.
