Just OMG amazing anthology series. Binge-watching, and just finished episode 3 with Anne Hathaway (cried my eyes out, need another to rebalance myself).

10/10

I binged this @BitOfFun and then I bought the book

The Anne Hathaway one and the John Gallagher one were the only ones I didn't like much

I loved The Doorman one and the one with Dev Patel best

It is a warm hug of a program even in its sad bits

100PercentThatBitch · 20/10/2019 01:32

Also, Ed Sheeran and his fake Oirish accent - go home pal

RosieMapleLeaf · 20/10/2019 02:01

I watched the entire series last night and loved it. Didn't like the Anne Hathaway one at the beginning but really appreciated it by the end.

BitOfFun · 20/10/2019 02:04

There's a book? Oh happy days!

I would've shagged the Doorman and raised my child with him personally

JMAngel1 · 20/10/2019 12:15

Omg, that's what I thought was going to happen - I was disappointed she moved to LA.
I just balled my eyes out during the bipolar one - think we're all a little bipolar at times especially in 20s.
Bloody loving it all.

ThrilledToTiddlyBits · 20/10/2019 16:29

I'm loving this. Ann hathaway least favourite so far. Loved Dev Patel.

JMAngel1 · 20/10/2019 17:44

I loved the Anne Hathaway!
My least favourite so far was the Tina Fey one - quite dull and I was surlrised ax I love her (and him, the politician from SATC)
I've had to come away from the Dad one as I'm cringing too much!
The hospital one was so honest - she was mesmerising - never seen her before.

ThrilledToTiddlyBits · 20/10/2019 18:07

@100PercentThatBitch Irish accent? It's meant to be West Country isn't it?!

100PercentThatBitch · 20/10/2019 19:13

Is it? Who knows...Grin

There is another brilliant series based on a New York Times column

Diagnosis on Netflix

There I found out House was based on a woman but of course it was a man for the show

It's a really great series about crowdsourcing a diagnosis - at the same time makes you grateful for the NHS

EachandEveryone · 26/10/2019 16:23

I loved it. The Guardian panned it but, what do they know? Ive bawled my eyes out at everyone. I just could watch nyc all day.

Cuntycrunch · 02/11/2019 22:12

Omg just binge watched this tonight absolutely amazing

nipersvest · 06/11/2019 22:10

I started this with high hopes, loved the first 2, but am finding it's gone downhill from there. Am up to episode 7, is it worth persevering?

BennyTheBall · 17/11/2019 09:41

I watched the first 3. Sobbed all way through 1 & 2 - glorious!

Then the Anne Hathaway one I didn’t much like.

EleanorReally · 17/11/2019 17:57

i had high hopes but found it a bit soppy.
i liked the doorman one but then i read a review that it was the best, so that put me off

HabbyHadno · 26/11/2019 11:19

I'm nearly finished and had to come on to discuss it. I'm an emotional wreck, LOVED the first two, also liked the dad one, wasn't so keen on the Tina Fey one, it was a bit boring, but was super-pleased to find Andrew Scott pop up in an episode. I've been an emotional wreck the past two days. It's so good, and the NYC backdrop just makes it ace. Love, love, love it.
