I love a good dancing session Grin

Raahh · 24/10/2019 23:25

Oh dear, the dancing Grin

I get the feeling it's part of Djok's 'LOVE ME' schtick.

Rafa, rightly, was thinking- make yourself look like a twit, amigo.

I Rafa-ish.

The lad who saved him, did the right thing Grin.

Very Sad about Stan- it's almost as though it is pre-destined that Fed will win. they've been talking avout the 10th title all week.

I hope he doesn't. Someone will have to pack up the '10th title' banner.

and it's still not 12

PrivateSpidey · 24/10/2019 23:26

Jane based on that clip, Djok is clearly your spirit animal Grin

Salsa you say Fizzy?! This I need to see!!

If we could get them to bake cakes, dress up as farmers and do a bit of singing we could have the perfect combination of our favourite programmes (not sure where Doctors or Midsomer Murders would come into it though Grin) - I think I need to go to bed!

JaneJeffer · 24/10/2019 23:44

Private you're wrong...

True story!

Raahh · 24/10/2019 23:47

Fizzy it could work...

Grin

Tennis playing Doctors, on a murderous rampage around the countryside, whilst baking choux buns badly and singing.

Could be a really big hit.

PrivateSpidey · 24/10/2019 23:48

Grin oh Jane! I was envisaging you enthusiastically doing the running man at discos a la Djok! Grin

Fizzy yes I think we'd be better off leaving Doctors and Midsomer out of it Grin

I'm off to bed as well. No school run tomorrow but doubt I'll get an actual lie in, so am hitting the hay. Night all.

I'd definitely watch it!

Actually now that you come to mention it Raahh - that sounds like the perfect entertainment Grin

I keep forgetting there's no school next week.

Raahh · 25/10/2019 00:59

mine are off this week. It's very confusing, as some schools in the area are still open. Well, the one directly next to me is.But they are a law unto themselves, holiday wise.

kazzaD66 · 25/10/2019 07:52

DS has a two week October half term, this week and next!

Still can't believe Stan has pulled out so quickly after the end of his match. Reports say he tweaked his back in the final game. Wouldn't you normally get treatment and (literally) sleep on it before making a decision this morning? Unless it's something he's had before and he's certain it will stop him playing today?
It's almost as if the organisers have said "look Stan, there's only one Swiss player we want to win and it ain't you, so run along (and we'll make it worth your while.....)"
Hmm

PrivateSpidey · 25/10/2019 09:36

It is a bit odd about Stan. Also it must have been really late at night over there when he announced it. Hmm That's probably end of his London hopes then I suppose.

DS is off today and next week. I'm pleased he's off for Halloween as I love it Halloween Grin however he wants me to make a turnip lantern as I keep telling him that's what we did as kids - I wish I'd kept quiet now as pumpkins are a million times easier.

Anyway I digress!! Halloween Grin Not sure if I'll watch the tennis today now Sad might watch Stefanos I suppose...

JaneJeffer · 25/10/2019 11:47

It's hard enough trying to chop a turnip never mind carve a lantern out of one Grin

Poor Stan Bear

Fizzywinegum · 25/10/2019 16:29

My grandad used to make me a turnip lantern for halloween (before pumpkins were invented! Halloween Grin)

They are very hard to carve - sorry Spidey

Yes poor Stan Bear

PrivateSpidey · 25/10/2019 17:44

Argh I know, I'm sorry I told DS about it now! I've got to ask my mum how to do it - there was some sort of system of cutting cubes out of the centre of it iirc Hmm
Maybe I can just use a drill?!

What could go wrong?!

I know it's the wrong sport but wow! England Rugby - didn't see that coming! Let's hope they play that well next Saturday Wink

Only two weeks until the ATP Finals. Can't believe how quickly the weeks are now slipping by Shock

It's unfortunate that Stefanos has Roger in the semis this afternoon. If he looks like he's winning, I'll turn it on but I don't particularly want to watch Fed cruise through Hmm

Still chucking it down here and so dark!
Looking forward to getting an extra hour sleep tonight (in theory, anyway!).

Fizzywinegum · 26/10/2019 13:00

I’m not a rugby fan kazza but it was a great achievement. DH left for the pub at about 8.30 this morning to watch the rugby and now he’s gone to a football match (localish derby) so cant see that ending well!

It’s still pouring with rain here - it’s so gloomy and miserable. Might watch a bit of tennis.

How’s the turnip carving going Spidey? Any trips to a&e yet? Halloween Grin

JaneJeffer · 26/10/2019 13:07

I hate the clocks going back and the dark evenings.

PrivateSpidey · 26/10/2019 13:15

kazza don't mention the rugby Grin

It's been a complicated morning in our house (Kiwi DH)

I haven't started the turnip yet Fizzy. He's sitting on the worktop, radiating doom Halloween Grin
