I'm on episode 4 of season one, I like it its quirky

It's so awful and yet I can't stop watching!!

Is Bob supposed to be hot?! I can't see why a girl like Patty would have a crush on him.

Bob's weird.... what episode are you on?

Just finished episode 4.
I don't know what they're aiming for. Did you watch Kimmy Schmidt? That had larger than life quirky characters, but was hilarious and you cared about them.
I like Patty and Coraleen, but both Bob's are creepy and there's no explanation of why they're both into pageants, women's clothes, no backstory which makes it hard to like them or empathise with them. I will see it through, hopefully they'll be some lovely message about it caring about looks but not sure. It's all over the place and am sure I read there's a second series.

The phrase that sprung to mind was ‘Well that escalated quickly!’!

And it all feels incestuous. Coraleen fancies other Bob, who has a daughter, who is sleeping with Coraleen's son, who Patty also fancies as well as fancying Bob, but the son is also sleeping with Regina who accused Bob of touching her daughter inappropriately, whilst Patty's best friend and shop boy also fancy Patty. Too much!!

I've just finished season 2

I absolutely loved it and laughed so much. The different plots are so outrageous, but at the same time I found Patty relatable at times (more so towards the end of s1).

There are times where even though the plot lines are ridiculous, Patty's eating disorder is portrayed quite realistically

They do develop the characters individually, but they all have qualities that make you both love and hate them.

i've just started S2, its all gone a bit crazy....
