I've got a series to catch up on!

Not watched 6 yet!!

I just started series 6 and am loving it. Will catch up within a few days (am on holiday) and re-join the thread.

I've instructed dh that I need series 1-5 for Christmas.

I soooo want Josephine to get out of prison - I'm worried about her.

I want that barstwerd Vern to rot in hell!

She has to go all the way down before she gets out and gets vengeance.

As long as she does triumph LordProfFekko.

Though now she is using her lawyerly skills in the choker, i can see her becoming a top dog there. (I want to see that bitch warden get her comeuppance, too. )

It will start to go badly for her I think - she will get someone else help with her lawyery skills and get some respect. I think she will be convicted though - but eventually let out after an appeal.

Poor Josephine. The perils of being a snakey bitch for your entire career have finally caught up with you and now you're in (unrelated) trouble no one is quick to step forward.

Spiral fans - what else are you watching that I will also love? Spiral seems to be the only one left standing of all my old favourite non-US/UK dramas. I also liked the Killing, Borgen, Love/Hate, the Bridge, all of which have ended and I don't know what else could take their place.

Try Der Pass. German/Austrian police duo working on a case along the border. I think it's on catch-up TV.

Really loving series 7 of Spiral. Just happened on it the other day. I'd no idea it was back!

@PhilipJennings you need Walter Presents in your life. Loads of brilliant world dramas to watch. I don't know what I'd do without it. I watch them via the All4 app, chromecasted to the TV.

Google it and there is a Wikipedia page explaining it

Walter is an Italian bloke who chooses foreign TV shows for C4, I think. He was responsible for buying 'Professor T' which is a Belgian detective programme and wound up with a cameo in one of the later series! He also chose 'Vanished by the lake' another French detective programme.

Can we get series 1-5 anywhere? I love spiral

I'm currently reading Treachery of Spies, which is a part-crime thriller, part-historical novel, features a female detective and is set in modern day France. It has a very Spiral-type feel to it. It has been filling the gap while I wait for new episodes!

Getting the feeling that Laure was jealous when Gilou was chatting to the female detective from the Fraud Squad.

I thought the Mayhem - she seemed to be eyeing them up in a sinister and resentful manner.

When she and Gilou were "pretending" to snog in a car while on observation there were definite sexy vibes, too.

AND - I really want to know what her boss said that caused the accusation to be dropped.

I think blackmail - all the other women waiting to accuse him of nasties.
