Anyone watching? Read the book years ago, and really liked it. Thought this one pretty intriguing and will keep on watching.

It's been well over 20 years since I watched it. I really enjoyed it back then Liked the book more (isnt that always the way. I hope its not one of those films that date badly.

It's not the film, it's a new eight part series. The French detective from "The Missing" is in it!

BBC2, it started last night.

I dont realise they'd made it into a tv show will look out for it on catch up.

I started watching it and I’m not sure I understood any of it! I saw the film version years ago and thought it would be more like that although I guess that was more concise - any maybe not even true to the book!

I have to say I found it rather hard work - so many monks to try to remember and recognise! I hope it becomes a bit more gripping next episode.

I watched it and think its going to be good. Seen the film with Sean Connery which I liked, but can’t remember what happens.
