The Mash Report

Does anyone watch this? Does anyone think it's funny?
Now and again I catch bits when I'm turning on for another programme and I can't understand why it's on TV.
Last night there was a segment, that felt like it went on forever, between Nish Kumar and ? about anal sex. Tee hee.
And why is the Mash Report on facebook usually funny. and on TV never is. Perhaps it's NK;s eternal smugness.
I suppose it fits both of the BBC's tick boxes - Left Wing and Woke

I sometimes catch a bit of it and smile a little but I agres, there's a lot of shouting and gurning that I just don't get.

JustDanceAddict · 05/10/2019 09:20

I love it!
Not everyone has the same sense of humour.

Very rarely funny. I’m millennial, left wing and probably woke but I just don’t get it. And Rachel Parris has shocking delivery.

It's like the curate's egg (good in parts)

MissLadyM · 05/10/2019 20:22

I adore the website but the programme is shite. It tries way too hard and I loathe the presenters.

LolaSmiles · 05/10/2019 20:25

Some snippets of it are mildly amusing, but I'm centre left and socially liberal and I still find a good amount of their stuff insufferably woke and smug.

june2007 · 05/10/2019 20:41

The odd line is funny but most of time fake angry and just annoying.

Campervan69 · 05/10/2019 20:43

It's really weird because I absolutely love the Daily Mash and find it hilarious but it just does not seem to translate well to television I don't know why

Doingtheboxerbeat · 07/10/2019 12:16

Same @Campervan69, I don't find it funny on the show at all, cringy in fact.
I think it may the implication that it's supposed to be funny but the articles are written in a very serious manner, but in the of view of a spider or the local terrorist neighbourhood cat and that's beautiful.

I like the Nish Kumar segments but other parts can be hit and miss. I usually watch it on catch up as I'm in bed by 10pm but I do really enjoy it, much needed show for these horrible political times.
