Definitely get Leah’s house back, I forgot about that! Aw, that was Vinnie’s house, and I think Jesse’s before him. That was an H&A house of my youth 😢

Sleeping there’s definitely room at Irene’s now Jazzy and Bells-end have gone too! Can’t we have a runaway squatting in a caravan? I’m sure that’s how Maddie and Spencer started out..?

@Fi1982 yes, that teen group was great! Definitely a different dynamic than Leah, Irene, Max, John, Alf and Justin hanging out at the diner 😂😂

Fi I’d have to go with the teens if the Braxton era, Matt, Evie, Josh, Maddy, Spencer, Casey, there’s probably others I can’t remember. I think H&A was def aimed more at teens then.

Surely Irene's grandkids must be old enough to come and live with her by now??

I agree the teens of the Braxton era.
I also think they should bring Chris back for Irene.
All the kids go selfish at some point like you all pointed out with Ryder. It happened with Olivia too. I think that's the road they have to go down.
It would be good to get some more younger people in the cast, I don't want people like Martha or the likes from that era though.
(I actually like the likes of Alf and Maz etc) 🤣

I was quite fond of Sasha, Sid's daughter - she had that deadbeat River Boy boyfriend who beat her up.

My fave teens were Ric, Cassie, Aden, Nicole, etc. Aden had one of the most memorably moving stories on H&A when he revealed he'd been abused by his grandfather. They did it so well, and it just felt really important to show a guy going through this stuff rather than the standard woman-as-sexual-abuse-victim.

That sounded dreadful Not that it's not important when women are abused, but I think we need to acknowledge very clearly that men can be victims of abuse too and the need to speak out about it, and although it's tackled more often in soaps now, it wasn't so when Aden's storyline aired.

TheOnlyLiving who was Sasha’s deadbeat BF?? I don’t remember that at all. It’s amazing the characters you forget over the years... sometimes I go down bad rabbit holes on Back to the Bay, reading up on random 10 episode characters from 1998!

Amazing SL I just remembered: Will’s little brother being kind of sexually abused/gaslit by Angie something-or-other?! Then her doppelgänger sister (Josie?) turning up after her death?! Gotta love the slightly more bonkers H&A SLs 😂

Starburst I freakin love Maz etc, but if I was a free n single 16yr old, would I be hanging with her and Palmer at the diner talking about another boring pensioner’s court case or Bipolar disorder, or would I be trying to get off with some hot surfer dude on the beach 😝

I think I just bung all that family in together, that boring woman with the short hair (Beth?) who was with Tony before Rachel, is that right? I was kind of one-eye watching H&A for a few years in my 20s. It was the Robbie saving blonde girl from the cult era!

Cant believe I forgot Stu, just Googled him and it’s all coming back to me like Celine Dion! Gosh that was quite chilling eh. I also forgot I really liked Sid with Marilyn until they gave her that upsetting baby SL and he got off with Roo 😡

Today’s ep: Bells-end living up to her name. Also I can’t really warm to Mack, she’s always whinging about summat!

A bit weird Ziggy and Maggie kind of pouncing on Ben about the antidepressants the second he’s started to open up about his depression... give the guy a break!

Bella and her OTT reactions to everything is ridiculous and boring. Poor Ben. I’d go back to the caravan for some peace and quiet.

The blond cult-girl was Tasha; didn’t she become another of Irene’s waifs and strays, before marrying Robbie (on the beach, natch) at a ridiculously young age?

The original kids: everyone I knew (including me) fancied Frank and then I realised I had a thing for Steven but that really wasn’t cool. Roo was an evil bitch teen and we all wanted to be Bobby. They also did a rape storyline with Carly, so very early on in the show.

Do you remember the time Kane raped Dani and then went on to have a relationship with Kirsty (Dani's sister??) ?!

Yeah the Kirsty actress commented recently (before her stint in Neighbours) about it saying how weird it was and how thankfully it would never happen today
