The standard was so different to what it is now! It does look so dated when I've caught an old episode

I miss the history bits!

I haven't rewatched the old ones, but I'd bet the whole feel is very different; it seems much less gentle and more ramped up now.

I’m trying to watch 2015, I’m onto the final show but the last twenty minutes Netflix keeps crashing 😫

I use to like the history bits but they seem too long now.
I'm onto series 2 now, it's much more like what we're used to.

It's Mary Berry who fascinates me in the early ones. She looked a different woman in the later series. I need whatever moisturiser she has.

Well Netflix has well and truly given up on me! They’re about to announce the winner, I’m so annoyed!

On a side note, I can’t believe how silver haired Paul is now compared to these older series! Also, why does he never shave? He always has stubble with the goaty, makes him look scruffy

I really like the early series in that they are baking things I’d like to bake and have actually heard of! 😀

I'd love to watch it from the very beginning but never get time. I never saw the first few series as I only really got into it about four years ago. I think the first one i saw was the one before the last one that Mel and Sue did.
