Anyone watching. So far I’ve been really impressed by the young volunteers and how they’re benefitting the patients and finding out what they are capable of. The two girls encouraging the man on the colo-rectal wars to eat was so lovely to see. How when they started asking him about his job and family and what music he liked, he began to brighten up and feed himself. I was in tears at the difference a bit of attention and kindness made. There doesn’t seem to be an answer to the state the NHS is in but this felt really positive and a benefit to all.
