Has there ever been a more unsympathetic character in soap? She has such a punchable face. I just want to kill her. She’s so fucking snidey the entire time. Why on earth would Marlon have married the sour-faced old sow?!

Sorry but the character is ugly, drippy and totally lacks any ambition or drive. He can't see any life at all outside that tiny village.

They are such a mismatch it is laughable.

Marlon is the dumping ground for the show’s single women. Any female character even vaguely in the right age range gets put with him eventually, regardless of whether they are in any way suited. See also Dev in Corrie and Ian in EE.
