We have moved to an older house with one aerial cable in lounge and want another cable in our bedroom but it requires wiring out front of house.

Considering Sky Q so can go wireless !

Any opinions of users?

Or do we make do with netflix and one tv where we currently negotiate what to watch ( 2 adults and 14 & 11 year old)

Watch one film per week on Rakuten

Is it worth it?

I would but just so they install the wiring and dish. I'm 3 years in and with no change to my package I've gone from £42 a month to £78 !!!!

Redglitter · 07/09/2019 18:22

I love my Sky Q wouldnt be without it now. I've got Netflix as part of my package

stucknoue · 07/09/2019 18:42

We pay £56 including broadband and phone line but not movies, sports or sky q (extra £12) I do recommend

We have had Sky since it first came out and like it, we haven’t got Q though, I would like Q but DH has a Sky planner full which will be deleted if we change from Sky+. The price does creep up so every so often I ring up and have a little grumble and the give us a new contract at a lower price which they will do if you are out of contract.

Flicketyflack · 07/09/2019 20:53

This is my worry, that prices will creep up!

Are the programmes any good?

We've just had our sky revamped and our bill has gone down for the same package. They couldn't beat our highly discounted sports and cinema package so we kept those.
At the moment they are advertising a package for new and recontracting packages.

Would now TV work for your setup? Its basically cheap sky (owned by them)

EachandEveryone · 08/09/2019 12:04

Love my Sky Q and its cheaper than the Sky package I has before.

We ditched sky and have gone for Now TV. We only had a basic sky multi room package but the prices were creeping up. Now have £7.99 a month now TV bought on an offer and have paid to add Sky spirts to it at £199 for a year one off fee. We can have it on multiple devices at the same time in different rooms which is great for the teenagers in our life.

I’m considering ditching it now Thrones is over. It’s very expensive and with Prime, Netflix and the various catch up channels we can get just about everything we want to see without it. Now TV sounds promising.
