Life on Mars is on iplayer!

So excited that Life on Mars is on iplayer again! It is one of my favourite EVER tv series. I love Sam Tyler (played wonderfully by John Simm) and Gene Hunt (fabulous Philip Glenister). Just watched S1, Ep1 for the first time in years tonight- I still laughed out loud & found it even more poignant than I did in 2006 when I first watched it. Can't wait to watch the rest of them - tho will limit myself to one per day, to make it last longer!!! Anyone else a Life on Mars fan?

We are watching it atm. Didn't watch it first time round but we're really enjoying it. Just watched series 2 episode 3. We plan to watch Ashes to Ashes after.

So much so that I used to have them all on dvd back in the day (god knows where they are now!)

Yes! I LOVED the final episode of LoM, it makes me cry whenever I've seen it. Just in love with John Simm really, whatever he's in! ♥️
Funnily enough, I can't remember the last episode of Ashes to Ashes, will have to recap. I do love a good cry!!!

Just rewatched it and enjoyed it way more than the first time. Not getting into Ashes to Ashes as much so am very struck by how much a younger Keeley Hawes looks like Michelle from Skins or the other way round.

Just watched the first two episodes of LoM, I had forgotten just how fantastic this was. Really enjoying it again.
The writing is so clever and spot on for 1973, we had to keep pausing it and commenting on stuff.
