Dark (German series on Netflix) Season 2

Has anyone else watched Season 2 of Dark?
I've just finished the last episode and trying to get my head around it all.

Just me then.

I watched it, but it just got more and more stupid and elaborate. I saw it through to the end and just sat there thinking "my god that is a lot of hours I've wasted"

Well TBH I thought series 1 was ridiculous but I was invested so carried on to give it a chance. So you might like series 2! I just don't think it was my 'thing'. I thought, from the synopsis, that it would be a murder mystery/crime drama type thing but the time travel stuff just made me go . If you like that sort of thing, then I think you'll enjoy it

I loved it and watched all of it twice. Watching it the second time I was amazed how much I'd missed first time around. It's more like a puzzle than a tv show!

I loved it!! I'll probably watch it all again before series 3. Complicated but worth it in my opinion.

I feel as if I've achieved something in (almost) understanding it!

Watched it, liked it, but you definitely have to pay attention! So many storylines and times - I don’t know if I could cope with any more in S3!

PastTheGin I found it all fell into place after re-watching and reading about it. You're right, concentration is vital and every little thing is relevant.

Fuck, I didn’t want to look for a thread on it before (due to spoilers) but I feel my brain has been put through a blender (in a good way!). Just watched the last episode of season 2 and I can’t wait for season 3! I would genuinely say it’s the best series I’ve ever seen. Yes it is super complicated and you have to pay attention at all times but it makes sense if you do. It helps that I know German as Netflix annoyingly leaves out lines of conversation (i’ve also noticed this in other subtitled series). I will probably rewatch before s3 just to make sure it’s all clear in my head. But it’s like watching the most complicated jigsaw you could ever do. Which isn’t going to appeal to those lazy of brain I don’t mean that in a bad way, just some people like TV purely for unwinding so something like this will annoy them, whereas I loved the mental challenge.

Very complicated but I love it! It's the first dubbed to series I've watched where I've got to the stage of not noticing the dubbing. I think I'd like to keep a crib sheet of photos in front of me though - and maybe a pin board 😀

I watched half the first series but got bored. Having read a synopsis, I'm glad I didn't bother! Way to confusing!

OMG I loved Dark and watched both series twice over. Can't wait until Series 3.

I have just discovered this series, it is really mind blowing and i am only half way through series 1. It's like a puzzle!
