My new favourite programme. I’m still recovering from the singing through the credits of last Friday’s episode.

Does anyone else watch this?

Yes. Dh and I are loving it. I'm not into fishing but still liking it!

1forAll74 · 29/08/2019 03:05

YES, I love this programme.. its a nice simple, in the country release, from all the other crap shows. Bob,and his funny simplistic chat.is a real gem.

360eyes · 04/09/2019 22:13

I do love this. Reminds me of Detectorists a bit. There is always something amusing about middle aged men's banter and I like the simplicity of it and the scenery.

grafittiartist · 04/09/2019 22:21

Yes!!! Love it! And I have no interest in fishing at all.
I found it whilst trying to avoid the news one morning.
Lovely telly.

BelindasGleeTeam · 04/09/2019 22:25

One of my absolute favourite things on TV. It's perfect.

TheFaerieQueene · 04/09/2019 22:27

My DH loves it. I’m ambivalent tbh, but they do seem to be good friends.

Monkeybunkey · 05/09/2019 13:06

I love it. Two of my favourite comedians and such a nice dynamic between them. I'm a week or so behind but watched the one where Bob caught a bass last night and was really chuffed for him! I think this is the second series so I'm hoping for another one when this one ends.

PrincessScarlett · 05/09/2019 13:20

Bob and Paul are hilarious together. Pure comedy gold. I hate fishing but this is so watchable.

EggysMom · 05/09/2019 19:33

As others - I have no interest in fishing at all. But the conversation between Paul and Bob is brilliantly entertaining.

HetHetHet · 06/09/2019 16:30

I love Bob Mortimer in any form (a big fan of Althletico Mince, in particular) and have loved this, despite being another one with no interest in fishing.

Squiz81 · 06/09/2019 19:57

Complete agree @360eyes on all your points! I love the banter between them and it's been filmed beautifully.

Swisskit · 06/09/2019 22:05

I love Bob Mortimer, he seems so child-like and giggly, it's a joy to watch. Really look forward to this every week.

rockingthelook · 07/09/2019 23:25

This is such a great watch, their chat and obvious friendship is a joy to behold, Bob is hysterical, always makes me laugh out loud

UrsulaPandress · 07/09/2019 23:28

DH loves it. He watches it in the upstairs lounge. Then comes down to tell me about it. Hmm. He was very excited this week as bypass surgery was discussed in detail and he's on the waiting list.

Riddleofthesands · 08/09/2019 14:39

Love it! My family all fly fish on our local river. DH has fished with PW a couple of times in the past, he is genuinely mad about fishing (and very good at it) and the countryside, exactly as you see on the telly apparently. And very very funny. Bob makes me smile, he seems just the sweetest man. Feel good programme.

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 08/09/2019 14:42

It's a really lovely series (as was the first). I don't give a stuff about fishing, but they're just fab together. Nice gentle telly Smile

MrsSteveMcDonald · 08/09/2019 18:54

I've fancied Bob for yonks so initially put it on because of that. Vic and Bob's humour isn't my cup of tea so have never really found them funny but Bob and Paul are a completely different kettle of fish see what I did there?

They seem to have a genuine, lovely friendship and are naturally funny without trying.
