I kept skirting over this series on Netflix and then watched it obsessively once I started.
It was only this year that I discovered it. I was blown away by it and can't stop talking about it, watching the songs on YouTube. It was just amazing and no one else I know watched it so I have no one to witter onto about it.

It was funny, clever, sad, uncomfortable, and generally awesome. Anyone else loved it?

Yes!!! I loved it.

Watched it the first time when I had split with DP and needed a pick me up. I was on the ‘no contact’ thread with others who had recently split up with a long term partner and recommended it to everyone on there as I could relate too much to Rebecca!

DP and I reunited and I made him watch it with me too. He was very reluctant at first but then he got into it too Grin. He promised me a little dance round the kitchen to Let’s Have Intercourse last week and I still haven’t cashed it in Grin

Can’t wait for my DCs to be old enough to enjoy it too, as I know DD will love it, but at 12 she’s a bit too young for some of the scenes.

Might be time for a late night rewatch?

I showed my 10 year old 'i have friends' and 'face your fears'.
So many ear worms in that show too. I sang 'first penis' in my head for about two weeks solid.
30to50 make sure you get that dance! DH did not enjoy crazy ex. I think it was too feminist and he said all the talking about their emotions made him anxious.

I just loved Paula so much. Her song to her son about never believing in him made me cry 😳

Right, I am off to listen to ' no one else is singing my song'...

Fantastic show. I loved it and I think I've watched most episodes 2 or 3 times.

I Have Friends is one of my favourites and I Could if I Wanted To. I wasn't so keen on the new Greg though.

I loved the songs, the humour, the characters, the emotion...everything about it was just brilliant.

The live show really showed how talented they are - Paula the most of course.

I was disappointed they changed Greg, how could they not keep the voice of Hans?

My DD has been subjected to some of them too and had to admit that I Have Friends was brilliant. DS was very disturbed by how catchy First Penis was though Grin

Yes! I love it! Genius piece of TV. I loved the ending too. I was trying to work out what might happen and suddenly guessed how it would end. Such a strong feminist vibe too.

30to50 I loved Santino Fontana as Greg too! Very sexy with his dark brooding and sarcasm Smile

My favourite song is ‘No-one else is singing my song’ Its impossible..impossible...impossible..or is it?! I also love ‘Oh my God I think I like you’ and the rock ballad Rebecca sings with Paula ‘You go first’.

I love it! I've watched my favourite songs from it on YouTube so many times.

Plus I went to see Rachel Bloom live when she came to London a few months ago with special guests Daryl and Nathaniel, it was amazing!!

I think Santino Fontana’s contract was only ever for the first series (with what, one guest appearance in the second?). He’s in a musical which is why he didn’t want to do season 4. I thought Skylar Astin was alright but he just wasn’t as dry and sarcastic as Santino.

winecheesesleep - I am so jealous!! What did Ms Bloom do in her live show?

Out of the three men I really did like Nathaniel the most.

I couldn't get with the idea that Skylar was Greg, even though the way he was introduced was impeccably done. He was like her fourth guy (well, fifth if you include Jason as a relationship).

I love I Hate Everything But You!

I liked Original Greg and New Greg but I don't see them as the same character. I know she will live happily ever after with Greg, even though we don't see it.

I love Heather and White Josh too.

I love how musically clever it is - all the nods to the different musicals and pop songs. The spice girls one, les miserables, diamonds are a girls best friend... And my fav is settle for me, closely followed by we tapped this ass all over this house.
