Is that the documentary about Sophie Lancaster and her murder?

I’m really unsure if I want to watch it, we were the same age, I was alternative an living near Manchester at the time, we actually knew some of the same people

(Presses send too soon)

It was really traumatising for a lot of alternative people because it wasn’t a surprise that it happened just deeply heartbreaking.

Whenever I read about it it still upsets me.

Was the documentary good?

I've met both Sylvia and Adam Lancaster, Sophie's mum and brother. The trust they set up does fabulous anti prejudice work in schools. So important that Sophie's story is told.

I was A year or two younger than her, but very into the punk scene (still am but don’t have coloured hair any more) and it did scare me. I actually think it was very well done (Robert and Sophie’s families were both involved)

I watched this today and it was horrendous. Does anyone know if Rob made a full physical recovery? It's awful how one person (or several in this case) can do this to another.

This was a horrific thing to have happened and what backward little thugs these people were, is Bacup quite backwards then, sorry I’ll rephrase that, is there quite a small minded mentality within Bacup? I thought those boys were far too young to be that way, clearly they didn’t pluck these ideas from thin air, they were brutal and I fear for whoever they get involved with when they’re out, it’s been 11 years since they were sent to prison and I reckon in 11 they will be out.

On a different note then the soundtrack to MFBD is brilliant.

Infact less than 11 years with our wonderful judicial systemAngrysarcasm was heavily injected here

It’s not a documentary but a drama and it is really good, but it caused anxiety in me for its sheer brutality.Sad
