Just wondering but also this may be a heads up to those affected.

Was watching on prime (I'm a night owl due to health issues)

When it all went "wonky" and something I was watching which SHOULD be free with prime came up as requesting payment.

Checked my payment for prime had gone through as usual and it has so was puzzled, contacted Amazon via online chat and initially "call handler" was also puzzled but mid "call" they came back to me and said whole uk network affected.

So...are you affected?

I'm just wondering if it is just me or if it really is a widespread issue, but also thought if it is a national issue it'd be good to have a thread so people knew.

Geez saying it could take a day or two to fix! Hope not. If so that's pretty poor isn't it?

we are affected as well

Is it wrong I'm kinda relieved it's not just me? Thank goodness for Netflix!

I get very anxious and I need the distraction

Same here. V annoying now as still wide awake and Grey's-Anatomy-less Confused

MrsPinkCup · 15/08/2019 01:47

Just checked mine it's asking me to sign up as a new customer yet showing me my purchased items.

I was rewatching bones which I have been on a loop since I got prime (I find it comforting watching familiar stuff)

But not just bones, I have that as my "background" distraction.

When I'm properly watching I may put a film on (recently enjoyed rewatching a few good men, Erin brockovich, knight and day and runaway jury) or I've been finally getting round to watching stuff I missed out on seeing for various reasons when it was on "normal" telly.

Had ALMOST caught up on scandal when it disappeared from prime Angry I seem destined NEVER to see the final series of that.

Also house and the Americans.

Greys anatomy on the list, I've yet to see the last series of good wife too (it disappeared off Netflix JUST as I finished penultimate season) and have the good fight on my list too.

I have some new (to me) stuff too but I must admit it's mostly stuff I am familiar with and know I like.

However recently got to watching lucifer and I LOVED that!

Currently back to another old fave on Netflix as prime is down - Friends (awaits the marmite reaction)

Can't sleep so I'm watching Supernatural. It's fine.

MountainPeakGeek · 15/08/2019 02:31

Wasn't just UK. Lost Prime video in Canada too!

Graphista · 15/08/2019 02:52

Canada too? How weird!

They'll be getting inundated!
