Yep, I saw it, really enjoyed it. Slightly predictable twist at the end but I still want to see what Butcher will do. Had to look away at some points as the violence was pretty brutal, especially from Homelander.

Not sure what to make of The Deep. At times comic, but also pervy and very tragic.

Yes the Deep ended up as my favourite character. He didn't do it "on porpoise" ;) the management of his behaviour was darkly comedic.
I wonder if we will see more people that didn't make the 7 in the next series?

Homelands is my favourite.

I binge watched the whole series too. Wasn't sure what it was going to be like but found it excellent! Wish I hadn't binged it now, too log to wait for a second series.

Butcher's accent was annoying, he's a New Zealander but I think they were trying to make him English? It was painful. That's my only negative comment.

Yes, Urban's "British" accent was a fail.

I enjoyed it. Didn’t realise he was supposed to be British till it was mentioned about halfway through.

I love busters fake British accent, but I love it when actors put in fake accents.

Loved the Haley Joel Osmont character too.

Just watched the first two episodes tonight and really enjoyed it. (Although I had to look away during some of the really gory bits).
And Karl Urban's (Butcher) 'English' accent really was all over the place!
I just read that the actor playing Homelander is a Kiwi too but he obviously has no problems playing American.

The scene when Homelander and Queen Maeve left the plane of people was rough!

I think QM is going to crack, Starlight is clearly getting to her. After the whole plane incident, and when she realises what Homelander has done with the Compound V... That's got to be her limit.

Some really really good acting and really funny (as well as really awful) bits
