My favourite telly of the whole year but tinged with big sadness this year as George, Gary and Matt have announced that because of a failure to reach agreement in the contact negotiations for next year's series, it will be their last .

Whaaaaaaat?!? Devastated. It just won’t be the same without them.

I’m looking forward to the new series and have the series link set up already to record.

I love this series - the judges are great (and so supportive and encouraging) and the contestants are usually nice too.

The only thing I hate about it is when they have Marco Pierre White on - he makes it all about himself and I can't stand all the Me Me Me shouting he does.

This is the only programme i genuinely look forward to, so much better than the UK format!

I would try and find the link to their statement but I'm always so terrified of finding out the winner accidentally! It was retweeted by W from the MasterChef Australia UK Twitter page a week or so back.

That reminds me, I must unfollow W on Twitter as due to going away for 3 weeks I'll be really behind when I get back.

I've just had to cancel sky as too expensive so I'm hoping to find another way to watch it

I have already watched the whole series, so I won't give anything away!

I doubt I'll watch next season , it won't be Masterchef without Gary, George and Matt.
Not impressed with the names being thrown around for their replacements....past winners and Maggie Beer.

I think Shannon Bennett could work but I think hes busy with other things

I think Gary as with Shannon got into trouble regarding staff payments at their restaurants and then Gary and Matt got caught up with negotiating their wages.
There's a video of George assaulting a bloke at a sports ground doing the rounds which won't have helped..

Aw no..I love this show and really like the format of it and will really miss the presenters.

I also love Shannon and I am quite fond of Curtis Stone too

I really never warmed to the tall blonde guy who won it and was mentoring in the first cook - he's very cocky

I'm on episode 4. I'm a bit annoyed that the runner up Matt Sinclair is one of the series mentors. They favour him over the winner (can't Google her name). It's a bloke's club sometimes.

I'm glad no-one goes home in the first week. I'm not keen on MPW or Gordon Ramsey but like Shannon.

Yes it is hard to keep on top of, especially with irregular episode length. Nearly missed the returners episode as it was tagged on to an elimination and ran to an hour and a half.

I really like Abby and Tessa. My money would be on Tessa to win.

Nah, floppy haired guy stands out for me. Bloody hell, what's his name? Can't google in case of spoilers. The one who did the salty beetroot tonight.

Returners episode you say. I must look out for it as I always assume a long episode is a masterclass which I hate

This year hasn't been as good IMO
