Just started watching this, wow I'm four episodes in; can't remember the last time a series gripped and enthralled (and horrified) me the way this one has. Brendan Gleeson has always been a favourite of mine and the other leads are outstanding.

Has anyone seen both series? The third is scheduled for September apparently. I am a Stephen King fan but haven't read these books yet, am I doing it in the right order?

We watched both series. It was on Irish tele but buried in late night scheduling which was surprising as we both loved it. Good to hear the third series is imminent. Great show and great soundtrack - deserves better scheduling.

Thanks northernstars, I'm going to start series 2 next week. I was surprised more people haven't seen it; maybe it hasn't been shown in the UK?

Yes, it's good isn't it? I read the books a couple of years ago and very much enjoyed them. I believe Stephen King was involved in the production as well.

I watched the 1st episode as it was free on Amazon Prime, wish I hadn't as I'm hooked and can't view the rest without signing up to Starz, it's my daughter's account that I use and she doesn't want to 😓

We're on the second episode of series 3 - would definitely recommend.
