Taking over the asylum

Anyone watching this on BBC Scotland or iplayer? A rerun of a 6 part 1994 series starring a young David Tennant and Ken Stott. About a DJ in a psychiatric hospital. It's a bit cliched in a "good patient , bad judgemental staff and employer" sort of way and contains more pantomime baddies than I'd like but Tennant and Stott are excellent and it's better than most of the other stuff on atm.

No as don't have i player but I do remember it. First time I saw David Tennant and Ken Stott is always good. Really enjoyed it.

I remember really liking this all those years ago. And "Miss Toner" from Tutti Frutti was in it too I recall.

I hesitate to watch it again as these series you loved don't always stand the test of time unfortunately.

I caught the last episode - I'd loved it too back in the day highlandcoo and thought it had stood the test of time a bit better than Tutti Frutti which BBC Scotland showed a couple of months ago. TF really showed it's age and sadly, I didn't feel it was as good as I'd remembered. I'm going to try and catch up with the rest of the series.
