My best mate who I watch with at least once a week and the only person I talk LI with in real life also calls her Moira. She pronounces a lot of names of people and places wrong though and doesn’t ever change it even after being told repeatedly (not by me I’ve learned to just accept it). Apart from once we were going on holiday to a certain destination and she kept calling it something else entirely - I once spent like an hour trying to ‘teach’ her the pronunciation, breaking it down syllable by syllable and she eventually said it right then ten minute later it was back to the wrong pronunciation. It’s really weird but I’ve come to think she genuinely just can’t hear the difference. Maybe Curtis’ mum is the same.
