Oh ok I thought people were saying it's a bad or negative thing.

I think it's been majorly revised so that it gets as much sponsorship/advertising as possible (of course, ITV are a business after all) so they no longer get the booze, get to show to sex, have the smoking area bitch-fests, or allow anything to happen/get shown that might possibly upset anyone.

I think it's probably because they don't want any more deaths and are picking those used to media.

I thought the boys secret challenge last night was hilarious, I wish they had of done more of that type of messing during the show. Watching MM's face when Tommy was asking other women for back massages was priceless. And I think it told a lot about what the producers think about Maura, they know she is up for a bit of fun when both Greg and Ovie's tasks involves her. I would like to see Maura in the final and for Ovie and India to go on Sunday but I am afraid it will be Maura and Curtis.

Just when you think Ovie can't possibly get better, he irons India's dress. Love that man 😍. I don't think MM can cry properly due to Botox! I actually quite like her and love her self confidence.

I didn't manage to vote as I've only just watched it. Reckon it's bye bye to Curtis and Maura.

Not impressed Anton & Belle in vote as they weren't in the bottom two....pointless involving islanders and a set up by producers.

I love Ovie. He's seems such a nice chap.

I wish Maura wasn't with Curtis because she's my absolute favourite. I think this series would have been even more dull of she hadn't been in it and I hope she makes a mint when she comes out. She's fair cheered up my summer.

I do think it was unfair to include Anton and Belle when they only got one vote. I love Maura but I’m not sure how much more Maur-tis I can take, it’s triggering memories of shitty boyfriends past!

The milk spill was so funny I watched it about 5 times. Ovie can even do tasks perfectly 😍 I was impressed Maura took it so well, it looked like a full two pinter! 🤣

Also Greg getting Maura to say Fanny Flutter was genius - and the Fanny Flutters WhatsApp group. I so prefer seeing this funny, fun stuff (I know a lot of it is in unseen bits but they should put it in the real show). And they should think of some new challenges!

Right - Mollie May. I'm not really in to Instagram, but I looked at her Instagram and it's weird how incredibly different she is in the villa. I don't just mean her looks (which are different in my opinion) but her personality is totally different to what she portrays in her photos. What is going on there?? She's all pouty and siren-y and intimidatingly sexual, but in the villa she's funny, friendly, reflective... yet nothing about that side of her is shown in her Instagram. What's that all about??

Mollies YouTube videos are exactly the same as how she is in the villa. I watched a few of them a couple of weeks ago she comes across very mature, funny and a bright girl. Her Instagram is a bit more racy shall we say! A lot of arse shots etc. She had a lot of subscribers before she went into the villa!

I think what we see is a pretty natural young woman. Her insta is much more polished and suggestive. She is pretty young to look so polished and suggestive. It’s the way of the world.
I think the teeth are quite new.

Do we really think MM has had so much botox and that is why she can't actually cry, just "face cries" as someone aptly described it upthread? That's a shame for someone so young.

I couldn't watch the MM/TF date either. I just find her totally fake, although he is really quite sweet. If only bloody Lucie had chosen Tommy instead of Joe Anyone else remember Tommy saying almost identical things to Lucie up on the roof terrace about how she wouldn't believe how nicely he would treat her etc?

The Undercover Challenge was brilliant but I kept thinking how much better it could have been with Chris there Don't worry, I will get over it some day.

I voted for Ovie/India. I have resigned myself to the fact that MM/TF will win but will be seething inside as so much of this year has been over manipulated by the producers.

I agree, Maura has made this season and brightened up my summer too! I really can't stand Curtis though and I would love to see him leave, even if it means losing Maura. She made a poor choice there.

I think you're right. I think I'm of an age and inclination to just not get the whole Instagram Influencer thing. I was thinking of it as like an online photo album, but perhaps it's more about portraying a certain... persona? lifestyle?

Lily yes, it’s about portraying an image and lifestyle through pics, editing and stories. You can heavily edit everything. Your average 20 year old does not look like that in real life & tbh neither does she!
She looks softer and fresher on there.

Her makeup is quite different on Instagram too but probably because of makeup artists and lighting. Her initial hot tub appearance was more like her instagram pics.
I think she is a very astute young woman who realised Tommy was a good bet and only wanted him at the beginning when Maura was so aggressive. Tommy would never have gone for Maura for a relationship.
I think Belle’s makeup/ styling etc are more like someone of that age. A bit heavy handed.

It's actually one of the reasons I quite like the fact they have used Instagram influencers for Love Island - young people can see that people like MM are in fact normal imperfect human beings with feelings and everything, and not just the aspirational robots that you see on a grid of photoshopped pictures.

THe most interesting part of the whole episode was when the girls jumped in the pool - all of them came out looking clean and natural! Hair naturally messy, all fresh faced! Foundation starts to age people in late 20's and I honestly think the huge eyelashes make eyes look smaller plus the drag queen style doesn't suit younger women IMO.

MM annoying as hell - again think she is upset she has ended up with an idiot, albeit a lovely seeming one, who she will have nothing much in common with after a few more weeks.

Curtis' dad belly is huge and he's had it for several weeks. The bit in this episode when he danced in his white pants was enough to put me off my breakfast. I also wonder if the girls would usually skip a meal or two but haven't been able to with other people there/crew making sure they eat. They aren't doing much walking about or burning off calories because they refuse to use the pool!

Curtis has defo put on weight because his pants are way too small for him now, and presumably he bought ones that fit when he went in.
