Teen Mum UK - new series!

Did anyone catch the start of the new Teen Mum UK series?! I have only just caught up on it.

I cannot believe how awful Chloe is! Utterly spoilt (facilitated by her parents) and mithering her OH to move house. Drives me mad.

Glad Sassi has more independence with her new job and house.

As for Amber and Shannon - my mind boggles as to why they are having their second kids each...

I think Chloe is very smart and very ambitious. If she put that energy into building a career she would be financially independent - from MTV and her family - in no time. I can't imagine Jordan having the energy with a prostitute to be honest. Although with all the recent safeguarding around reality TV participants, I'm surprised they still have access to him - filming you at your worst time and being open to criticism as a person, boyfriend and father can't be good for him surely.
I wish Sassi the best though. It always seems like one step forward and two steps back. She's obviously a grafter when she's given chance. I don't think she should get back with Darren though. Not he way he treated her before. I thought she seemed really broken.

Not seen any of this season yet! Havent noticed Ambers house being dirty previously though. Is it dirt or stuff.

No it's always been filthy, even in earlier series! The floor is always covered in crumbs, it's gross Envy (Von, not envy).

It's all crumbs and bits of broken crisps etc. I always cringed watching her DC toddling about barefoot with all that muck on the floor. I guess she is just a typical messy teenager (with the added complication of a child...)

There was Mia and Naomi back in season one.

Mia was with Manley, Naomi was i think a make up artist. Both decided they didnt want be on the show any more. Think Mia did 2 seasons and Naomi just 1. Naomi was replaced with Sassi i think

I am flabbergasted as their lack of maturity, aspiration and the drama - falling in and out of love, being boyfriend and girlfriend etc. That crap is fine when when you are 18 or even 20, but surely once you have kids you need to buck up?

Have you even read the forums here? And the people here are mostly a helluva lot older than teens. When people have kids they should buck up should they? Grown women with careers and homes and marriages fall apart when they can’t breastfeed or when they haven’t had a night off from their baby in like two months or when their toddler throws a tantrum or when their little darling won’t settle at school etc etc and we see time and again the on off relationship sagas and people going back to deadbeat dads and complete cocklodgers.
I think most of these young women are doing a bloody hard job and some are doing it better than others. Just like us MNers. None are making it look like an idyllic or easy life though. 🙄

I think I was awful how unsupportive Charlie was to Shannon with regards to the whole breastfeeding issue.

I agree about Charlie. He doesn't even live with his son or do half the parenting. The WHO recommends breastfeeding until at least 2.

I felt so sorry for Shannon over the breastfeeding- getting it in the neck from Charlie and her sister. Charlie is horrible, for the life of me I can’t work out what she sees in him or why she’d want a second kid to him, he’s surly, rude, arrogant and thinks it’s somehow perverted that his son still likes breastfeeding at 2yrs old. He’s not even good looking. She should kick him to the curb, he’s a wanker.

Had to laugh at Chloe getting all jealous over Jordan going on holiday and potentially hooking up with another girl. He looks like he’s barely got the motivation to get out of bed for a piss, I highly doubt he’s going to be “chasing skirt” as he put it. It’s all he can do to be pleasant to the girlfriend he already has.

I’m sad that Amber and Ste have split up whilst there’s another baby on the way. They aren’t good for each other, but it’s tragic that they’ve dragged another person into the mess.

I'm also amazed that Shannon is still with Charlie. Can't for the life of me understand why. She could do so much better and I felt so impressed by her standing her ground on the breastfeeding issue. It it bothers Charlie so much during the two or so hours he spends with them in the day he'll just have to get over it. I think she should be commended for normalising breastfeeding especially as a young mum.

Chloe nagging Jordan as usually. Yawn.

I thought Megan was really rude about the hair. She could have just said thank you and privately thought it was weird. She says she wants to co parent amicably but I think there was no reason to be like that.

Sassi needs to LET GO. It was totally dramatic to burst in to Darren's flat like that. That said, I 100% believe Darren is a complete snake. His story about sleeping on someone's couch was BS, he's a terrible liar. He needs to have the decency to be clear with Sassi.

Amber and Ste are terrible together. So immature and tit for tat the pair of them.

I wonder if amber is depressed and that is the route cause of the conflict / animosity?

I don't understand why amber seems to have no life at her age? What did she want to do with her life? Just seems like her life is over at her age. There's no hopes or dreams.

Why on earth did she not have an abortion too? Bizarre being a teen mum to again have unprotected sex with someone she has a bad history with.

Also don't understand Ste. Why does he look so old? Does he work?

Is Blackpool life hard and miserable as it seems poor and dirty from the tv programme. Just hard going all round.

Charley is vile, controlling, gaslighting and arrogant. He is also clever and great at twisting things. Shannon if you are reading this you are a great mum! Ignore him and carry on that breastfeeding, dont let that twat grind you downSmile
Sassi is mad if she considers getting back with someone who was as vile and aggressive towards her as Darren was in front of their kid.
