Only started watching it a short while ago and DC keep waking up!!

From limited viewing seems she is defending boyfriend, and her mum seems a bit wishy washy, but in fairness I could be very wrong.

RandomMess · 24/07/2019 22:54
Sad
FairyDust92 · 24/07/2019 22:58

No I agree @JoyceDivision in one voluntary police interview she said the boyfriend called the baby a greedy cunt... this was a week before the incident. She didn't want the interviews used as evidence because they were voluntary. But she literally just said she wouldn't be verbally abused but was okay for her child be verbally abused. The way she is defending that man makes me sick!!

I'm watching. Poor baby girl.

Not sure what to make of the mum, although it seems she knows something. Who knows how we'd react in certain situations, but I'm concerned how she's so unconcerned with the possibility of the dad being guilty. If she knows it wasn't her, then surely he's responsible. I think she's going to be found guilty. The dad seems awful.

JoyceDivision · 24/07/2019 23:01

Oh dear God, why, why, why??? Watching it now, she is utterly disinterested, and her attempt to defend herself are half baked at best.

changingnam · 24/07/2019 23:02

Just seen the texts. Why is she defending him

FairyDust92 · 24/07/2019 23:08

Absolute joke! She knows something.
The fact she is defending him makes me sick. It's in black and white she knew something!

I didn't see what the last message said just before the ad break. Seems she either loves him so much she's covering for him, or she's covering her own back.

RandomMess · 24/07/2019 23:14

She is in complete denial that he could do something and clearly did.

FairyDust92 · 24/07/2019 23:19

Exactly! She actually annoys me. I'm glad the baby survived but that poor baby girl has so many health issued caused by what happened to her. 16 different HP's said her injuries are consistent with being shaken yet she doesn't believe that happened! I'm glad she can't have her children she doesn't deserve them.

Alexis21 · 24/07/2019 23:27

He called the baby a greedy cunt omg no words

FairyDust92 · 24/07/2019 23:30

Her solicitor is v straight talking and seems to dislike her

Alexis21 · 24/07/2019 23:36

The injuries are horrific permanent and life changing.

birdonawire1 · 24/07/2019 23:51

I am surprised she was found guilty but not too because she did so much to make herself look guilty by defending the indefensible. It's absolutely clear her boyfriend injured the baby, but she just refused to accept it. This made her look equally guilty.

I don't believe she witnessed or covered up any abuse of the baby, but she is typical of so many younger women today. Superficially feisty, streetwise, knows her own mind and can stand up for herself, but underneath emotionally naive, and wanting that happy ever after, perfect little family scenario like a 1950s schoolgirl. That's why she continued to defend her bf and refused to look at the evidence.

These two character traits worked against her and maybe there was also an element of guilt in that if she admitted to herself Kyles violent traits then she has to admit she failed to protect her child against him. Truly blinded the fairy tale that was in her imagination.
