Michael lets things stew then he takes his problems out on Amber. He was all riled up then, almost breathless he was that annoyed. Then thudded himself down back with the boys.

It's not what he said, it's how he said it. Amber was influenced by everyone else saying they thought Michael was still into her, despite Michael saying the exact opposite. So it wasn't her fault she was still hoping for it to continue. He didn't need to be so mean to her. And "sit down". Wtf.

It was the comment that he felt entitled to more time in the villa and enjoy himself before cracking on with Joanne ...

Michael really reminds me of my abusive ex. And he's acting like this on TV. Wonder what he's like behind closed doors.

It seems like Micheal not only is not interested in amber, but actually dislikes her. No sensitivity to her feelings at all.

No, she wasn't biting back. She was basically using it as excuses as to why he should pick her. Just in a veiled kind if way.

Michael is one of those men who have to make them not wanting you anymore your fault and get really angry with you for the things they claimed to like/find attractive about you in the first place. Can’t admit they just changed their mind/were bullshitting a bit to begin with anyway, so much easier to just be really angry with the woman because she hasn’t vanished into dust the second you no longer want her around.

Agree, he thinks he looks bad again as he stayed, so he decided to go kick amber, and he was angry too. Shouting sit down at her.

As a pp said, what does he do behind closed doors if he behaves like that in public. He's treated amber appallingly.

Not really, @Whisky2014 - she had an arsehole giving her shit and said it to hurt him. It was quite obvious and she was more than justified.

Our Ovie didn't look happy with Michael at all then. And judging by all their reactions I suspect they felt quite a disturbing vibe while that conversation was happening.

I'm a bit shocked, throughout these serieses I've never really been wholly convinced about the abusive controlling gaslighting accusations guys like Adam or joe got, and was on the fence as it could be about editing and context.

But what Michael has done,,that's the biggest red flag I've seen that a man is abusive.

At least Joanna and amber will see what he's like now. Hopefully both run like fuck. And I doubt anyone else will go near him either.

It's interesting that the two girls with the hardest exteriors, Maura and Amber, are the ones who seem most insecure and vulnerable.

I agree, I still don't like Amber and some of her behaviour has been quite nasty, but Michael is horrible.

I really really dislike Small Eared Michael.

It literally doesn’t matter what Amber says/does now some people will never warm to her! I think Michael was awful to her there and she has been nothing but composed and dignified since Casa Amor. Michael won’t be happy until he has reduced her to a snivelling wreck. She didn’t react the way he wanted her to when he dumped her and he’s had it in for her ever since.

Yes, all the men on the bench were very unhappy about what Michael just did to amber there and the anger he displayed doing it.

I hope Ovie takes Michael to task for the way he has treated Amber.

If amber was guarded and weary of being hurt by men before I can only imagine how guarded she's going to be now, after being humiliated and rejected and kicked over and over by Michael in front of the nation.
