What should I try next?

don't watch with your kids. It is a real world take on super-heroes. The super-speed hero gets high and runs through a woman.

Try some of the Australian police series
Blue Heelers, Water Police, City Homicide and Rescue.

Agree with the Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Lucifer, and Good Omens. I thought New Amsterdam was a bit clichéd and overrated

Recently watched both Code Black and New Amsterdam. Enjoyed both but preferred Code Black.

The Loomimg Tower is also excellent but sobering watching.
