boring question for sat night i know, but has anyone got this channel? Is it worth it, what's it like? Ds isn't really one for watching tv, but quite likes the 'brainy baby' dvd's (keeps him quiet for 15mins )
so was wondering if it is anything like that?

I saw it - we had it free for a month when it first started.

Was wierd animation and the like that made no sense, followed no law of physics. Any speaking tended to be gobbledigook.

TBH I prefer CBeebies.

BAby channel really wasn't much cop.

We get it, tbh haven't watched it much, older ones won't let babby watch her own channel! It seems a little more weird Sweedish shows than Baby Einstein, but I'm sure someone more helpful will be along soon...

btw, found a fab website for babies, called kneebouncers.co, baby gets to bash the keyboard for a cartoon to react such as curtains opening for peekaboo or guitar strings playing twinkle twinkle, it's great, although my M doesn't work quite as well as it did

3Ddonut · 28/07/2007 20:39

that's kneebouncers.com see what I mean about my M?!

baby is only 8mths, so quite likes the weird animation thing - although currently lovely the opening song of fraggle rock!

website looks great donut, but trying not to encourage ds to bang on the computer!

It's Israeli. Lots of Jewish music over everything which I quite liked! . DS1 (severely autistic) absolutely loved it. I was quite tempted to subscribe, but didn't in the end. I do think its quite good for children with speech & language difficulties though (perhaps accidentally!), quite well done!

hmm...sounds interesting! only £3.50 a month a think, so may give it a go - certainly cheaper than the dvd's!

dd1 quite likes it, as gess says it has some interesting Jewish music. it is very gentle and slightly odd but in a good way.
(I am now singing Baby Chef, Baby Chef, cooking is a lot of fun Baby Chef, Baby Chef, fun for everyone)

dd loves it, lots of visual stuff and songs, is good for children with speech and language difficulties like gess said.
