I think people are being a bit mean. Yes Amy can come across as a bit of a bunny boiler at times but the reality experience in the villa is intense. A month cooped up day and night must seem far longer to them. I think she genuinely fell for Curtis and had strong feelings for him. She hasn’t had a boyfriend before and believed their relationship was the real deal. It’s easy to fall into fantasy when you’re cut off from the rest of the world. She has a right to feel heartbroken even if people think she’s being dramatic.

If Amy had said she was leaving for herself. I would have applauded her.

But she didnt. She turned it into a big drama and the made out, she did it for him.

If you look at it cynically she new a recoupling was coming she new she wasn't going to be ready for anything other than a friendship couple and she wasn't that close to any of the blokes on there to be sure of being safe! Far better to go of her own accord with a big moment than be dumped from the island or the one not picked! She was right to go but you can't help but feel that the way it was done was sure to get her the most sympathy for someone who was public enemy number one a few weeks ago you can't help but think the producers have played a blinder on everyone with this! If you look at it cynically!

It's very clear, as it's been posted many times, the issue with Amy's speech is she made it curtis fault. She didn't take personal responsibility.
