I think the show psychologist and the producers are absolutely right.

I think Curtis will feel relieved. People can get emotional when they see somebody else getting emotional, he is probably not THAT down about it.

She did well. And left on a positive note and put her mental health first. She did well.

I don't believe that was manipulative. Manipulative would have been, talking about it and hinting at it for days, making him beg her to stay. She was decisive and honest. Everyone is being harsh. The intensity of the situation and the fact they're not allowed to talk about anything else, she may well have got completely carried away and has now realised that, deciding for her own well-being she needs to go home. She was right and she was doing it as much for herself as him. And judging by the reactions of the islanders she was clearly well liked in there.

I think we need to remember how intense it must be for them in that environment and give Amy a break. I've cringed at some of her moments but couldn't see anything but authenticity in her goodbye speech. In rl isn't she godmother to several kids? She can't be that awful if so!

I imagine Curtis is somewhat relieved. It would have been worse on them both for her to stay and inflict her anger on him everytime he attempted to get to know someone.

I'm glad Amy's gone. I think Curtis should go as well. He's just awful. He has some kind of smoke and mirrors going on. And if I hear him call one more woman 'young lady' 🙄🙄

Sunflower that motherhood comment was clearly a joke. The others all referred to her and Curtis as the mum and dad of the villa.

Manipulative is saying she's leaving for Curtis because she loves him, when she barely knows him and she's leaving a) because she can't cope with rejection and b) has been pulled from the show.
