Not sure if the blouse is nunlike but it's very frumpy. I don't really like watching the Murray brothers playing doubles as all that whispering with a tennis ball in front of their mouth nonsense gets on my wick - as if the opposition are going to lipread what they're saying from the other side of the net

I remember her playing at Wimbledon when she was a young teen many moons ago. She liked frills and fancy tennis dresses!

Tracy is the same age as me. I remember being really envious of her playing at Wimbledon aged 14 - with her hair in bunches and a frilly dress with pockets in the front for the ball - this was pre the current trend for ball up the leg of your knickers (or wherever it is that they hide it)

I don’t understand how they can move comfortably and freely with a pocket or pants full of spare balls.

Wasn't there a player (at least one) who used to have the spare ball stuck to something on their back? or did I dream that?

I had to go out very quickly- last i saw, Konta looked like she was winning comfotably.

@Raahh was it Aranxia Sanchez-Vicario? The ball kept falling out and they played a let and she eventually abandoned it.

Raahh do you mean Arantxa Sanchez Vicario?? She used to have the little ball clip on the waistband of her skirt. I had one of those little clips when I was about 12, I loved it!!
They didn't really catch on though!
