🎾
Place marking too!

Raahh · 06/07/2019 18:39

A shame about Schwartzman, he did have the match in his diminutive pocket for a bit.

But well done to Berrettini (who is very easy on the eye) Grin

I like that emoji, 80s it changes from a ball to a racquet when I refresh the page. (I did it a couple of times, because I am easily pleased).

Checking in - still watching Rog be relatively untroubled by anything on Centre Court.

Zoeputthatdown · 06/07/2019 18:45

Well held, Pouille.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 06/07/2019 18:46

Not as untroubled as Rafa was by poor old Jo Willy though!

MyGastIsFlabbered · 06/07/2019 18:46

Checking in. Come on Roger Tennis

bookbook · 06/07/2019 18:51

thank you Raahh - he is rather trouble free , though I'm not sure I have heard him shout to himself much before now

Raahh · 06/07/2019 18:51

Now I have finished with Diego, I really must take the dog for a quick walk.

At least I have been able to schedule most of today around Rafa. Which is nice . Will be odd tomorrow with no tennis.

and done , wrapped up

PolkadotLollipop · 06/07/2019 18:53

I love Rog. Good game lads.

Have you noticed the difference between his racquet arm and his left arm? Shock

Zoeputthatdown · 06/07/2019 18:53

Glad Roger's through but good match.

PolkadotLollipop · 06/07/2019 18:53

His left forearm is twiggy and right forearm is huge

Zoeputthatdown · 06/07/2019 18:57

BBC correspondent filed her report before the end of the match:
Then eight-time Wimbledon champion Federer beat Lucas Pouille 7-5 6-2 X-X.
Not quite, er, cricket!

Joining the party rather late here. Lived tge other thread.

His left forearm is twiggy and right forearm is huge

I've seen old footage of Rod Laver where his left arm was so much bigger than his right. Most of them now look more or less the same.

bizzey · 06/07/2019 19:10

Found you !!
I am still on red button on a bit of delay .
Andy and serena next .

Ohhhh judy has just used popcorn on her sm thing

StarbucksSmarterSister · 06/07/2019 19:10

Flippin' Autocorrect! Loved the other thread.

Raahh · 06/07/2019 19:21

well, my dog really didn't want to go put. it's not even that warm- and it was raining when we went out this morning. He's a fussy dog.

It's hard to score check whilst walking the dog. One of these days i will drop my phone.

And yay! Sousa is 2-1 up.

Raahh · 06/07/2019 19:22

Each of the 3 sets was exactly 48 minutes.

That's interesting. Grin

I've been doing a round up of results, and (much as I am really thrilled that Gauff is coming into her own this tournament)- I see that she lost the mixed doubles, partnered with Jay Clarke. The cruel way Clarke ditched Dart as as partner, I'm secretly a bit pleased they lost (Gauff will have many opportunities- Clarke , maybe not so many).

Oh, Evans is playing up to type.

PolkadotLollipop · 06/07/2019 19:29

@StarbucksSmarterSister, it’s true. Most of the others are relatively well balanced. RF seems to ignore his left arm!

Adelie0404 · 06/07/2019 19:31

Indeed. And if he got through he’d be against Rafa and that wouldn’t be a pretty sight.

Raahh · 06/07/2019 19:39

Adelie I know. I am not an Evans fan. (sorry Kazza, wherever you are, but you know that anyway Grin) . I can't stand him.

And the commentary will again be annoying.
