I have to admit colour this match is pretty dull - Tsonga just seems very flat.

I'm glad to see Rafa has found his serve- 9 aces is what he usually get in a tournament!

It’s all a bit routine isn’t it. I’m not complaining as I haven't recovered properly from Thursday. No doubt Rafa will be pleased to have a less demanding match today. Especially if Roger is stretched later on.

It is nice for Rafa to have a straightforward match.

I don't think this delay will affect his momentum.

Plenty of time for an exciting match. It's time Federer had a 5 set thriller in the early rounds.

Meanwhile, I'm happy with a straightforward Rafa win.

I suppose it is better for my nerves but would prefer something a bit more exciting.

Konta has won the second set and looks as if Murray and PHH could be on the way out of the doubles.

Straightforward yes, JWT just doesn’t seem ready for this, bless him. But Rafa is playing rather well indeed......looks good for the onwards match(es), dare I say?
