How to turn off Audio Description on All4, please?

I'm trying to watch The Handmaid's tale on catch up but I can't find anywhere obvious that turns the audio description off. Nothing next to the speaker button or subtitles button. It's very intrusive.

I will be grateful if anyone can help.

Thanks in advance.

You can’t turn it off, it’s a problem at their end. They’re going to upload a non AD version as soon as possible.

Thanks for that cautionsharpblade. Can i ask whether you have any more info? I was going to email them and ask but if they're working on it that's good to know.

Thank you Caution. It's reassuring to know it wasn't just me being incompetent!

Think All4 are having a right mare today! Trying to watch a different programme on their website which is also being audio described.... oops!

Oh! I started a similar thread.
So glad to see that it is a problem at their end.

Ali86 · 26/06/2019 12:17

Oddly we re-registered and then the problem went away but on the original account it was still there (on Monday night). No idea how that could possibly work but it did.
