I just had a quick look at the quiz Private - like how Rosol beating Rafa is in one of questions (that will make Raahh even more cross! Smile)

The weather is awful here - it’s really pouring down - my cucumber plants are drowning Sad. I can’t even be bothered to watch tennis.

Has Stan answered any of his questions yet? Grin. Some were a bit personal about how often he saw his child and if his marriage had affected his game - no wonder he didn’t want to answer them!

JaneJeffer · 25/06/2019 14:50

Private I only got 10 because I didn't understand what I was doing and I'm crap at stats (that's Raahh's job) Grin

PrivateIsles · 25/06/2019 15:08

Jane we need a proper quiz with meaningful questions, not pointless ones about Lucas Rosol.

Like name the favourite animal of the Swiss men's no2 player? Or: who is famous for sliding under the net at Queen's Club?? That's the kind of thing they should be asking.

To be fair to the BBC they need a lot of filler to kill time as they can't actually show anything other than the women's - and there are presumably times when both main courts have the men's matches on. Plus rain delays etc!

Fizzywinegum · 25/06/2019 15:35

You’re right Private - I could answer all those questions Grin. How about what is Andrew Castle’s favourite butterfly?

Raahh · 25/06/2019 15:41

I am sick of doing the school run in the rain.

I think I am growing fins.

Jane Grin I do like a good stat, that is true.

Private those are my kind of questions.

(Dzumhur, btw, is currently doing ok, in Antalya) Grin. Not sure where any 'luge' action has taken place though.

Grin
Raahh · 25/06/2019 15:54

Inverdale is doing one of quiz questions again.

And nearly forgot my favourite Norwegian player in his answer Grin

JaneJeffer · 25/06/2019 15:54

Private I much prefer your questions Grin

We don't have rain but it's so humid.

Raahh · 25/06/2019 15:59

Jane it's been a bit of both. And it's very oppressive, and means I can't work out what on earth to wear.

PrivateIsles · 25/06/2019 16:44

Raahh exactly - I didn't take a jacket/raincoat this morning as it was so warm, so got absolutely soaked (even with an umbrella Hmm)

I see Rafa has been doing his traditional food shopping in Wimbledon village - at Bayley and Sage this time. I lived in Wimbledon for a while and B&S is for millionaire tennis stars only - a loaf of bread costs about a fiver! I just used to press my nose against the window (almost) and marvel at all the produce Grin

But we like the annual 'Rafa talks to the self checkout at Tesco' story that always pops up.

He can't go posh!

Fizzywinegum · 25/06/2019 17:21

I love it when Rafa does his shopping Grin. Bayley & Sage does sound very posh - he needs to go to Aldi!

I’m getting excited for Wimbledon now - hopefully the weather should be improving Smile

JaneJeffer · 25/06/2019 17:39

Let's hope Uncle Toni doesn't find out that Rafa's been shopping in a posh shop. He won't be impressed.

Fizzywinegum · 25/06/2019 17:51

The Uncle Toni thing always makes me laugh Jane - probably because I’ve got an Uncle Tony and they always refer to him as “uncle” Toni as if that’s his actual name Grin

JaneJeffer · 25/06/2019 17:58

He's everybody's uncle Grin

Fed looks odd in that picture. From UPS delivery boy to ....the Stig, without a helmet.

would look so much better with a helmet

Grin
JaneJeffer · 25/06/2019 19:56

You're right Raahh he is The Stig Grin

Raahh · 25/06/2019 19:59

The helmet might spoil his, erm, lovely hair.

JaneJeffer · 25/06/2019 20:20

Can't ruin the coiffure Grin

kazzaD66 · 25/06/2019 20:34

I don't know if it's because of the way he's standing but UPS delivery guy has an odd looking package ConfusedGrin

JaneJeffer · 25/06/2019 20:38

kazza Shock I'd rather not think about that Grin

Raahh · 25/06/2019 20:38

kazza Grin

I'm so glad someone else said it.

( I love it when we lower the tone )
