Yes. I watched it after going to see the West End musical that was based on the programme Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (which I highly recommend). Jamie’s mum comes across as such a supportive mum & they obviously have a great relationship.

No the documentary came first. I wasnt keen on musical, both dd and i found it lacked something

The documentary came first then the musical was written but was set in Sheffield (where it was first produced). We loved the show. Jamie McCrea was superb.

Really, we werent impressed by him at all, too stage schooly.
Dd ended up with ticket for the Oliviers the year it was nominated and the real Jamie was in the ladies toilet. She was desperate to see the musical and was thrilled to get rush tickets.We both came out and said " it was ok but!

We walked over the road and entered The Book of Mormon lottery and won!
