monica and chandler obviously were married and had adopted twins.

phoebe and mike got married.

joey was still single!

Ross and Rachel did get back together, Monica and Chandler were moving to a new house with their adopted twins, Erica and Jack, Phoebe was married to Mike, Joey nothing really.

it was a very sickly ending

phew I am clearly not the only sad one filch

it made me laugh that the twins were a total surprise yet they automatically had a double buggy! which they were able to get down the stairs with no problem!

i am an addict!

so handy those floating double buggies that appear out of nowhere when needed, eh?

I assumed that they went back to the buggy shop and swopped their single for a double - but I agree that it was uncommonly easy for them to manoeuvre it through that tight turn in the stairs!
But thinking about it, wouldn't the mother have known it was twins from her ante-natal appointments? And surely the social workers would have told Chandler and Monica?

The mum thought the second heartbeat was hers!!

MuminBrum no the birth mother was spectacularly lacking in the brains department, and having been told there were 2 heartbeats deduced that one was her own.
SW conveniently did not feature in the adoption process otherwise that would hav spoiled the 'omg it's twins' storyline...
