This pattern on Love Island swimsuit last night is driving me mad! Where the hell do I recognise it from??? Have searched all tv shows and album covers 80s and 90s but just can’t find it - it’s just so familiar

I looked at the opening intro - wasn’t there but just remembered there was a funny interlude thingy when they switched scenes - will check that.

There’s a Facebook page that finds the love island clothes called “love island outfits”

But the pattern has been on a meme as well so you might have seen it around the internet 😂 but yes very saved by the bell

It's not Saved by the Bell. It's a Memphis pattern, the same style as the opening titles of SBTB and lots of other programmes at the time.

The Chart Show had graphics very similar to this pattern?

It's a common 80s pattern called Memphis style, probably used on multiple things. There was a similar thread about the same type of pattern on a skateboard a few days ago.

I get that there are lots of Memphis style 80s patterns but it was definitely this one in particular.
