Results on Britain’s Got Talent

Anyone else somewhat bewildered by the results? Last night those brilliant gymnast/acrobats with the knives were sent home. Their unbelievable act was brilliant. Then the girl opera singer who was wonderful was also sent home. The young lads who performed magic were good but not in the same league (in my opinion). My guess was that lots of young girls voted for them.

We hadn’t thought much of the results the night before but last night made me wonder at the apparent injustice and was it worth bothering with. I expect lots of you won’t agree and I must say I suppose I must take some blame for not voting this time.

There were two brothers doing similar last year - amazing acrobatic act - and they were sent home. David said it - puppies and small children. So all that is left is young girls to vote for the magicians. But I agree, the best didn't win last night.

It’s a shame but I suppose the losers got some exposure and apparently talent scouts watch these programmes. Feel sorry for the really specially talented though.

I didn't like the knife act, I'm afraid. Didn't want to see it again. As for the singing girl, she left me a bit cold too.

These shows aren't really about talent in any case. They're about what makes the audience feel good.

I thought it was called Britain’s Got Talent for the reason that it was going to give talented people a chance to shine and receive a boost to their career and opportunities. Of course we need to be entertained or it wouldn’t work.

It is a matter of taste. Personally I don't want to see singers on BGT we have X Factor and The Voice and Voice Kids etx already.

Personally I thought the young 4mg magicians were great but each to their own.

I didn't rate Kojo the comedian last night - Simon's golden buzzer act and friend od Aleysha but he got through. The public put him top 3. Not my taste but each to their own

Old man singing was always going to be straight to the final I bet the other contestants groaned when they saw Colin in their night ! It hasn't been the best BGT over all so The Chelsea pensioner is going to win the show

Anyone else think the sound in the live finals wasn’t doing any favours for some of the contestants. I recall them appearing to be better in the auditions. Perhaps it was the huge venue? The hyped up audience didn’t really help.
