The OA (possible spoilers)

Finally got round to finishing the OA, very good but I’m a bit confused about the ending.
Can anyone explain it very simply?

I'll sum up the OA very easily.

Narcissist actress makes confusing vanity project in an attempt to appear deeper than the puddle she actually is.

I enjoyed the first season but gave up half way through the second.

I really enjoyed it. I get the impression that subsequent series are going to feature others of the gang in peril (ie buck / Michelle series 2) in parallel dimensions which the oa travels to and gets involved in, experiencing a different life / persona in each. But I may be wrong

I loved the first one but found the second so hard to follow. I enjoy a twisty plot but I don’t want to have to sit taking notes!

I loved it. I thought it was beautiful and weird in utterly original ways.

How much of the ending do you need explaining?
