Although Jeremy and his team do appear to do some good work, because of the death of a former 'guest' the programme has been pulled. I cannot help thinking someone has taken their own life which is so tragic.

It's been a staple of many for years ! Cannot stand the programme - the lie detectors, DNA (how many fathers !!!!) . However the story behind the headlines - so sad. (there for the grace of god go I)

What good work do they do? Genuinely asking.

I’ve only ever seen them take advantage of and manipulate people.

IvanaPee · 13/05/2019 16:00

Jacqui what is the story behind the headline?

Outofinspiration · 13/05/2019 17:18

They died a whole week after they had been on the show, so they must think it's definitely connected if they have cancelled the show.

When I saw the headline I thought someone had died on the same say as filming at the studio.

Very sad though and loads of absolute arse holes making jokes about it all online Angry

Now all episodes of the show have been deleted from the play back facility. Why? What has happened that had caused them to do that?

I do love a bit of trash tv every now and again

SnugglySnerd · 13/05/2019 19:45

It's sad that someone has died but it's about time that awful programme was off air.

User11011 · 13/05/2019 19:56

Does anyone know what the story is?

RebootYourEngine · 13/05/2019 21:21

It needs to be stopped altogether.

Outofinspiration · 13/05/2019 22:41

I think obviously there is a lot we don't know about here and the death must be directly linked to show. How awful.

Hopefully we will no longer ever have to see that odious cunt on the telly though, making his living off people's misery.

A 62-year-old grandfather was found dead days after being 'humiliated and traumatised' on The Jeremy Kyle Show when he failed a lie detector test on the programme, his landlady has revealed.

xxxx died in a suspected suicide a week after filming an episode of the controversial ITV daytime chat show, which he had gone on with his on-and-off girlfriend xxx

He is said to have been left devastated and feeling suicidal after being confronted in the TV studio at MediaCity in Salford about allegations of infidelity.

xxx, who had been living in Portsmouth, Hampshire, was also asked to sit a lie detector test, a regular feature of the show. According to friends, he was labelled a liar after he failed the test.

The guest, who had just found out he was a grandfather, called his friends in tears after filming the show, which had been due to air yesterday. - from Daily Mail

I don’t mind the JK show but I can see that the “good work” they do is for the good of the show. Peoples minds are eased by the fact that they say they offer after show support, and of course they get things out in the open.

There’s still a lot of stuff on YouTube. Also I think someone died after filming several years ago, or am I thinking of Jenny Jones?

It reminds me of a brutish Jerry springer and like real life theatre.
