Bodies/ Line of Duty please reassure me!

I think everyone in the know agreed that Bodies was realistic and just like the show in real life but what about LOD?

Please tell me old Jed's got it all wrong and it's hugely exaggerated.....

Not an expert but I used to work for the police (police staff) and I have to suspend belief quite a lot particularly for the more action scenes.

There are obviously corrupt officers, but the ones involved in very serious crime are (thankfully) few and far between - which is why the ones that are often hit the papers. Thankfully most police regions' recruitment and vetting is a lot more water-tight than Central Police Service.

One thing I would say that was realistic are the characters and acting - I can easily imagine many of them as actual police officers.

Oh and the loose sexual morals are pretty accurate Obviously not speaking for every police officer but..

Cant be as unrealistic as The Body guard !!

So far fetched. My DH was in Royalty and specialist protection for 5 years. We had to stop watching it because I know they have to make it dramatic but it was verging on the ridiculous.
