I've lost track of why she started lying to Damon about being ill, something about not wanting him to leave her.

This storyline is just making me really angry. She's demanding urgent appointments with specialists and generally wasting NHS time and resources, her behaviour is appalling and selfish.

But that's the storyline isn't it. She's supposed to have Munchausen by proxy.

Or Munchausen syndrome I should say

When she was initially ill/collapsed it made Damon realise how much he liked her so she thought faking illness would keep him interested.

As PP said it's exploring Münchausen syndrome

I want to know why no one seems to be questioning her suddenly using arm again just because it has a ring on!

Can't stand Maxine. Disappointed she doesn't have a fatal illness so they can kill her off. She drives me bonkers and this storyline is so irritating

If it's a genuine illness then I take it back. But I thought she previously said it was to stop Damon leaving, and it was recorded in s teddy bear telling her daughter she was faking.

I'm just annoyed at her view on the NHS, wasting resources on something she is making up.

It's not genuine she's got Munchausen syndrome
