I thought this was lovely. Especially Isabelle as Editor. A very mature young lady whose family should feel very proud of her!

Anyone who didn't watch - kids basically took over Hello magazine - decided on the clothes for Marlene Klass (she gets everywhere!), where to do the shots, also some of them interviewed Prince Charles and Camilla. Unfortunately I thought one child kept trying to take over, which lead to upsets and arguments which Isabelle (bless her!) was more than able to sort out!

It was fantastic, wasn't it? Isabelle was seriously bright. She's reading Great Expectations Shock I'm forty-odd and haven't managed it yet Grin

That other boy (can't remember his name) was very pushy. Seeing his parents talk about their parenting, I'm not really surprised. Ryley was
so sweet when he was crying about leaving the mag. I hope he finds more confidence in the upcoming episodes (is it the same kids in each one, actually?); I do think he's bright and likeable, just a very sensitive soul. The mag editor was really kind and supportive too.

Samuel was very sweet too. I think he's bright and lovely but, again, needs to build confidence after being bullied.

The boy who thought he ruled the place was insufferable.

Isabelle had better managerial skills than most managers I've come across!

Getting the 'scoop' on Harry Potter was brilliant. Grin

Yes I hope Ryley gets more confidence. Wish I had even half of Isabelle's confidence. Sorry to say I felt like smacking that other boy! According to the Spectator he has become a figure of hate...Not good and he is only a kid but I think we all know a version of him, don't we? Some of us have had to suffer working with 'him' and there is not always an Isabelle around to check his behaviour.

Do you think the kids in this programme seemed really grown up?

I am only asking because I have a 5 year old, and can't imagine them being like this in just 2 years!

I think they all seemed lovely. I would be proud if I were their parents.

They seemed spectacularly capable to be fair to them - What were they 7/8?
At that age I wouldn't have said boo to a goose, though my dd at that age would quite happily have taken on Trump's job.

Yes re previous comments all the kids they seem to get on these programmes are really confident kids. I always think to myself where are the children like mine who take a while to open up?

Isabella sure was good at the pep talks.

I agree Missquad I 🙄 at the TV when she said that. I found his Mum incredibly rude and she hasn’t done any favours in terms of manners, teamwork and respect.

Callum is a sweetheart and really hope he succeeds in life. He made me melt.

I felt sorry for the manager girl when the boys started being nasty to her, she seemed calm and fair overall so speaking to her that simply because she was the manger for the week was not on..

Callum and his dad made my heart melt. I loved how encouraging and proud the parents were. It’s really shows what children can do when they’re given a project . Sometimes I don’t think we give them enough credit. I was really glad for Constantin that he came back. It was a steep learning curve bless him.

Watching it now. I know you shouldn't say this about a boy but Constantin and his mum really don't come across as likeable.
Every time they come in I cringe at the things they say. And his mum saying he won't be very good at taking orders it doesn't bode well if she's saying that now does it! And what's her being a single mum and him being an only child got to do with it! She says he's been the man of the house! So does she never tell him what to do?!

I've adored this series, the lessons some of the children are learning are real life skills, they're personal, emotional development in a way they won't experience in school. I end every episode in tears of pride of them all!! Alfie on the one tonight is the most lovely boy!

Love this! Interesting that Constantin was not on! Loved it when that boy (forgotten his name!) got an Employee of the week certificate. Was very impressed with the girl taking photos.

One of the girls was a bit of a madam but was impressed by some of the kids. 8 years old! Managed to phone people - at their age and indeed until I took up an office job I was terrified of speaking on the phone!!!!
