The American version of married at first sight :)

DarlingNikita · 26/04/2019 19:25

I like those things about farmers going to country shows to compete. Blush

There's a sheepdog trials one, a pigs one, a rabbits one, a cheese one... Honestly, it's heaven.

iN33danap · 26/04/2019 21:15

Married at first sight shocks me so much!!

Haha, cheese?! That's brilliant!!!

I love Car S.O.S. Everything I know about cars (admittedly, not a lot) I have learnt from this show and I always cry at the end, when they hand the car back.

TOWIE... Real Housewives of any kind Grin... Dinner Date... proper trash for me haha.

Only those closest to me IRL know my guilty tv pleasures... and to be honest I don't watch a lot of tv but when I do, i like it to be simple as it helps me unwind.

Wouldn't dare admit this at work!

Boyskeepswinging · 26/04/2019 21:52

Wanted Down Under, Wanted In Paradise ... my personal favourite was when it rained non-stop when they were Down Under so they went to an indoor climbing wall for their family activity. And then went on and on about amazing it had been because you can't do anything like that in the UK Confused

MenstruatorExtraordinaire · 26/04/2019 23:36

I like diet programmes. Kids go "mums watching her fat show again...."

Anything like The Biggest Loser or Extreme Weightloss.

Also Real Housewives of Cheshire and of Beverly Hills.

Katinski · 27/04/2019 11:42

Currently hooked on the BBC1's The Repair Shop. The epis are on iplayer but nevertheless I let my answerphone pick up my phone messages while it's on.Love it, it's a gem of a programme.

Needcoffeecoffeecoffee · 27/04/2019 14:47

katinski I saw the repair shop yesterday - I'd never seen it and was about to turn it off when I ended up watching the whole thing.
The bit with 'tiger' made me cry a little!

Oh and art is where the home is

I think I need to go back to work!

Katinski · 27/04/2019 22:45

The Repair Shop reminds me of the hours I spent either in Dad's Shed(called the Sulk Shed by mum) where he'd go to make furniture - can just smell the wood shavings - or at my uncle's place. He was an horologist and gave me a rose gold watch made when Queen Victoria was 18! And I remember playing those pinball machines in an arcade on the pier at the seaside.

But I think my real guilty pleasure is watching Family GuyGrin

Walnutwhipster · 27/04/2019 22:59

I think I caught a little of The Repair Shop the other day where the mended an instrument for a 90 year old that had belonged to her father. She cried when she saw it played, so did I.

Katinski · 27/04/2019 23:06

All the epis The Repair Shop are on iplayer. Will is my younger man new crush and Steve my older one.[sigh] Jay Blades, tho, is a waste of space, I reckon.Grin

upaladderagain · 28/04/2019 22:45

Say Yes to the Dress. It makes me smile that all of the American girls want the same thing, but mostly to "look like a princess", like they're all 12. Love a good sneer I do.

ChampagneCommunist · 28/04/2019 22:51

Repair Shop, Hoarders (series record & then I get up early to watch it before anyone else gets up), Island Medics.

Salvage Hunter - The Restorers & Wheeler Dealers (just the Ed's bits, Mike is rubbiah)

theluckiest · 28/04/2019 23:11

Oh, Say Yes to the Dress is completely fantastic trash TV..

I particularly enjoy the ones who want something 'classy but sexy' and end up looking like a stripper who's been involved in a terrible toilet roll accident. And her 'entourage' (Hmm oh, pur-lease) coo and tells her how stunning she is while I guffaw on the sofa...

Brilliant.

And Repair Shop is just lovely. A big warm hug of a programme.

Ninkaninus · 28/04/2019 23:13

Say Yes to the Dress! But only the US versions.

Samcro · 28/04/2019 23:16

Heartland
