I found this 100% fascinating. This was the era of Bill Clinton & Monica Lewinsky if I remember correct, and Natalie Suleman was one of the most hated females in the US along with Monica. Looking back at it in modern times, people sure liked to throw young women under the bus back then.

Anyhow, Natalie's kids are now 10 and this documentary catches up with them. I'm so impressed at Natalie's maturity and self-awareness now, and her openness about the stupidity of what she was doing back then. Her doctor def. deserved to be struck off for implanting 12 embryos, otherwise she could easily have been just a normal mom of a large but not crazy large family.

(Also she is a better mum to her 14 than I'll ever manage with my 2! Just WOW!)

She does seem to have got better and matured. However, she should maybe ease off spending so much on organic vegan food and buy the kids some beds!
Geneticsfascinate me, 7 of the kids have dark brown eyes and varying shades of darker skin, yet one boy has very pale skin with freckles, blue eyes and blonde hair.

Noo surely Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky were the 90s?

AspergersMum · 20/04/2019 21:38

Oops, wrong decade! In my mind they were closer than that!

Agree entirely Rambler. A bed for each child would be a plus, but wasn't the condo only 3 bedrooms? I know everyone lives where they want to live but I feel like she could move somewhere really cheap and rent a much bigger property and still make her money go further. And not buy all organic. But the kids seem happy and healthy.
