I am! Love it. Such a feel good show and sad this is the last series.
Not seen tonights yet, but I'll watch it tomorrow.

Not seen tonight's, but only just picked up yesterday that a new series had started, and watched episode 1.

I do love it, as a series

Just catching up with it now.

The daughters changed, is she pregnant irl?

I think Daisy Waterstones is pregnant too. Was having this conversation with my friend about this.

Yes it's got silly. This is the last series apparently

Can't work out Louisa's so-called love for Spiro. First,she's obsessed with him, and Leslie is all for it, and encouraging poor Basil to pursue Spiro's wife. Now Basil and the wife are happy together, Spiro and Louisa are happy together - so Louisa and Leslie then decide it can't go on!

Sad to see it end last night. One of the few feel-good dramas of the last few years. I realised I liked nearly every character in it.

There is a follow up programme next Sunday about the 'real' Durrells.

And if you haven't been to Jersey Zoo, it is well worth a visit.

I love this programme. Have watched since the first series. Love the Durrell books too.

Fans of Henry Cavill should have been there yesterday, he took part in Durrell's 13k run.

just a heads up there is a programme on 1tv next Sunday where Kelley/keeley(Louisa) talks about what happened to the real Durrels when they came back to England

I did My Family and Other Animals for O level English. It was brilliant. I think Louisa Durrell was off her rocker in a good way.

As far as I remember the series only followed the books in a general way.

I love it and think Keeley Hawes is brilliant

Margo wrote a book "Whatever happened to Margo" which is about their life back in England much later. Margo ran a boarding house across the road from her mother's home. Great book. Really enjoyed it
