Just wondering if any one has any recommendations of tv shows I could start on netflix (or bbc itv player etc)

I’ve watched/am watching:
Designated survivor
Peaky blinders
House of cards
Sex education
Umbrella academy
Ointb
Rupauls drag race
Law and order SVU
Grace and Frankie
Derry Girls
Silent witness
Shetland
Luther
Gavin and Stacey
GoT

I’ve started but don’t really like:
Pretty little liars
Riverdale
Gossip girl

I dip in and out of emmerdale eastenders and holby city but don’t avidly follow them.

I’m a student nurse so grow tired of medical dramas as I just pick holes in it 😂

It’s to watch in my breaks from studying and in my insomnia episodes.

Any recommendations appreciated xx

I’ve also fully watched poldark, happy valley, NCIS and broadchurch. Those school hols years ago served me well 🤔

The OA and Orphan Black. Both good binge watches.

florentina1 · 13/04/2019 14:29

I love Project Runway. More drama than many soaps.

Line of Duty is excellent, four seasons on Netflix.

As you like shows such as Happy Valley and Luther, I'd recommend these on Netflix:

Unforgotten
Top of the Lake
Hinterland
Wallander
River

Love
A typical
Rita
Bonus Family
Evil Genius
The Staircase

Thanks so much everyone 😘

I’ve actually watched some of wallander and hinterland so will continue these. Then once they’re done I’ll start on some of the other suggestions. I also forgot I’m a couple seasons into suits so have that to carry on with too.

Quick sand is great

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 13/04/2019 14:42

Ozark - best thing on Netflix

If you need cheering up go for Queer Eye

After Life by Ricky Gervais is good

If you want mindless trash Selling Sunset or Yummy Mummies Oz

If you want something outside your comfort zone Drive to Survive, documentary on F1 (hated F1 prior to watching)

Studentnursesos12e · 13/04/2019 14:47

Thanks both x

I’ve been tempted by queer eye, as I love rpdr so I think I’ll watch that after I’ve fully finished rpdr (I’ve watched seasons 7- present).

SheChoseDown · 13/04/2019 18:25

Ozark!!
Then book a holiday there because it's the strangest place to view on Google earth 😂it's beautiful.

SheChoseDown · 13/04/2019 18:27

Top of the lake is quite popular but I'm halfway through series 2 and it's awful! It's just so fuckin weird but in a bad way. The obscure relationships and wtf is going on with people's reactions!?

Timewarpdancer · 16/04/2019 15:02

I’m currently watching dirty John. Only started yesterday and on ep8 .
I can’t stop

Xyzzzzz · 17/04/2019 19:33

I enjoyed dirty John. It was a good series based on a true story
